Brevetti Montolit rewrites history: after introducing the first equipment for processing large ceramic slabs, it presents FL3, the third generation manual cutting system for all extra large sizes (from 0 to 340 cm). The new tile cutter for gauged porcelain tile panels, created in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano, consists of an engraving trolley, modular rails and separating pliers, all contained in a practical and sturdy cordura bag.
FL3, the new machine for cutting large format porcelain slabs signed Montolit presents a slider carriage made of die-cast aluminum that slides on the guide bar by means of three wheels made of antifriction material. In addition, it is crucial to explain in detail the real innovative heart of the machine: Revolution 3WD, i.e., the loader that supports engraving wheels.
In this Montolit’s innovative proposal for cutting large format sheets the magazine is a polygon made of aircraft-derived aluminum alloy that features three wheels of different diameters: 8, 12 and 20 mm all with titanium surface treatment to ensure greater smoothness and durability. The operator can thus select the most suitable caster for the job at hand with a simple rotation of the stand without the need for specific equipment.
Thanks to the three engravers featured in this new machine for cutting large porcelain slabs – which are able to cope smoothly with any kind of porcelain, ceramic or glass tile-the operator is able to select the most suitable tool depending on the type of material, its texture/compactness or the desired surface finish. Combining the innovation represented by Revolution 3WD with the experience of the operator and the advice of Montolit technicians can result in a precise, workmanlike cut with a better finish.
FL3, the Montolit revolutiondesigned for cutting large-format porcelain slabs also features three modular aluminum guide bars, each 120 cm long. These are placed directly on the slab to be cut and do not need to be fixed in any way: grip is achieved through silicone strips placed on the contact surface, and this increases with increasing pressure on the slider carriage. As a result, the use of clamps or suction cups is rendered completely unnecessary. The proposed innovative solution is patented by Montolit and is internationally recognized.
In addition, the engraving operation is facilitated by the ergonomic handle that allows the operator to apply controlled and therefore always optimal pressure. At the end of the operation, thanks to the supplied pliers that enclose a double splitting system, separation is carried out along the drawn line.
In short, the Flash Line 3 turns out to be a professional piece of equipment that is intuitive, easy, fast, and above all, extremely high-performing.
