Four New Montolit Solutions Designed for Tile Installers’ Everyday Work
From marking a line on a tile to drilling a hole, all the way to working with and handling today’s new ceramic sizes: often, it is the smallest steps that have the greatest impact on precision, timing, and the quality of the final result.
These practical operations are the starting point for the new solutions Montolit is presenting at Cersaie 2026, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, taking place September 21–25 at BolognaFiere.
Montolit will be exhibiting in Hall 19 – Booth B45 during the year in which the company is also celebrating its 80th anniversary.
Among the highlights are four tools designed for very different stages of tile installation: GRES LINEA, MINIFLEXITILE, TARGET-TILE, and DUAL MINIGECO. Different solutions, united by a common approach: making professionals’ everyday work simpler, more controlled, and more precise.
GRES LINEA: a precise mark that wipes away without leaving a trace
Measure, mark, cut. Marking may seem like one of the simplest steps in the job, but on modern surfaces, even a line that is difficult to remove can become a problem.
GRES LINEA is Montolit’s new professional marking pen, developed to draw reference lines directly on the tile. The body is made from aerospace-grade aluminum with laser engraving, while the 2.8 mm mine uses a special mineral composition similar to talc. The mark remains clearly visible during the work and can then be wiped away without staining the surface.
The built-in sharpener keeps the mine ready to use and reduces the need to carry separate accessories. The visual identity has also been carefully designed: the colors and packaging echo Masterpiuma P5 ITALICA, creating continuity with the new generation of products developed during Montolit’s 80th-anniversary year.
It is a simple tool built around a very practical need: making precise marks while keeping the work surface clean.
MINIFLEXITILE: precision work in a compact format
Continuous walls, niches, integrated elements, and increasingly hidden details are also changing the type of work required from tile installers.

MINIFLEXITILE fits into this context: a new compact power tool designed to work with Montolit’s range of 50 mm and 76 mm mini diamond tools.
Its compact size and balanced design help maintain control during precision work and make it easier to reach areas where space is limited. The rotational speed reaches up to 19,000 rpm, providing the performance needed for cutting, finishing, and working ceramic and stone materials.
MINIFLEXITILE can also be adapted. The included 20 mm spindle allows 50 mm blades to be used correctly, while the different guards are designed for cutting and grinding.
The dual transparent guard also makes it possible to connect the tool to a dust-extraction or water system.
A battery-level indicator, automatic stop system, and overheating sensor complete this compact power tool, designed to give professionals greater control precisely in the applications where detail matters most.
TARGET-TILE: starting in the right spot when drilling a tile
When drilling, the first few moments are often the most critical. On porcelain tile and smooth surfaces, the drill bit can move sideways before it begins to cut into the material, causing the original reference point to be lost.
TARGET-TILE is Montolit’s new drilling guide, designed specifically to make this process more stable. A small suction cup secures the guide to the tile and keeps an accurate reference at the selected drilling point.
The guide is designed for 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12 mm (from 3/16″ to 1/2″) drill bits, and can also assist with larger-diameter holes.
The suction cup is movable and adjustable, which is especially useful when the drilling point is close to an edge or in an area with limited space.
The structure is made from aluminum and stainless steel.
The main advantage is its simplicity: positioning the drill bit more accurately helps reduce corrections and unwanted movement right from the start of the drilling process.
DUAL MINIGECO: two gripping surfaces, one handle
Planks, narrow, and small-format tiles require different gripping points than large slabs. In some cases, a traditional suction cup may simply be too large for the available surface.
DUAL MINIGECO expands Montolit’s range of electric suction cups with a system consisting of a single handle and two interchangeable bases.
– The narrow, elongated pad is designed especially for planks and long, narrow materials
– The round pad is suited to smaller tiles and situations that require a compact, evenly distributed grip.
Both bases use Montolit’s distinctive non-marking red rubber, designed to avoid leaving marks on the material being handled.
Switching from one configuration to the other is quick, and the valve helps ensure correct centering of the pad on the handle.
IP54 protection allows the tool to be used in damp environments, while the maximum rated capacity reaches 60 kg for horizontal handling and 30 kg for vertical handling.
The ability to choose the most suitable base while using the same tool makes DUAL MINIGECO particularly relevant in a market where tile formats and surface geometries continue to diversify.
Cersaie 2026: celebrating 80 years of Montolit
